Fireray 2000 Beam Detector The Fireray2000 comprises a transmitter unit and a receiver unit, the transmitter projects a modulated infra red light beam to the receiver unit. The received signal is analysed and should smoke be present for a predetermined time a fire condition is signalled. Smoke Detection, when smoke is present in the beam path, the received signal is reduced to a level determined by the density of the smoke. In the event of the Smoke reducing the signal strength between 40% and less than 90% for a period of approximately 5 seconds the fire alarm output is activated. This detection level can be factory calibrated to suit different environments; the smoke alarm output is via a changeover relay which remains in an alarm condition until manually reset. The control unit is located within 100 metres cable run of the receiver unit enabling low level installation and diagnostic capability, the system has approvals from Vds and UL and conforms to BS 5839 Part 5. 100m Operating Distance 25m Lateral Detection Range 24V Supply Voltage Low Current Operation Automatic Gain Control Up 800 sq. m. coverage Small Detection Devices Auto or Manual Reset Simple Installation 1 Year Warranty |
