BodyScan - Non contact temperature scanner
BodyScan Non Contact Temperature Body Scanner is suitable for
detecting people with fevers such as SARS or other similar infections.
As well as providing a means of limiting the spread of infectious
diseases such as SARS and other fevers, the BodyScan unit is an important
element in identifying persons in key positions, such as pilots etc.
Whose medical condition is crucial for the safety of others.
The BodyScan system enables large numbers of people to be scanned,
quickly and efficiently, for high body temperatures which may indicate
a fever thereby allowing rapid isolation for further examination by
a doctor.
Features of BodyScan
- Non contact body temperature detection for large volumes of passangers
- Automatic alarm when persons with fever pass through the system
- 0.1 degree C temperature resolution and smart calibration
- Fully automatic operation and low maintenance, no moving parts or coolers
- Replaces expensive thermal cameras and is very easy to operate
BodyScan Non Contact Temperature Body Scanner is a temperature
sensitive scanning device which senses the skin temperature of persons
passing through a gate or door.
Utilising non contact sensing, the upper body is scanned and the
highest temperature is detected and compared to settings within the
system. Alarms can then be activated when the temperature is over a
preset alarm level.
BodyScan Non Contact Temperature Body Scanner is designed for
automatic detection of a large volume of passengers, enabling infected
visitors and key personnel such as pilots, industrial control staff etc.
to be rapidly screened and those with a high temperature identified for
a more careful individual inspection, whilst allowing persons with a
normal reading to pass through un-hindered.
The unit can have an additional PC logger, included as an option,
to store all statistics and calibrations which can be used for later
recall and comparison.
The system also incorporates a Fail Safe design to help avoid mis-operation.
Please Note: Individuals whose faces are covered by hair or
textiles and infants may not result in accurate measurements and should
therefore be manually checked where appropriate.
