bullet Nurse Call

In an environment where efficiency is paramount, this system helps to save staff time, minimises any disturbance and helps to improve patient care.

Should a patient require additional assistance, simply reach across to the nearest callpoint to make a “help is required” or emergency call. The calls can prioritised to show on all relevant displays and indicate its higher priority with a more urgent alarm tone easily recognisable by fellow staff.

This system thus enables the patient to rest in the knowledge of support being available whenever required.

This is an intelligent addressable call system primarily designed for use in medium to large sized nursing homes and hospitals.

With multiple call levels, different day/night call routing arrangements, manual and automatic call divert and free built-in data logging, it is one of the most advanced call systems available in the UK today.

The system utilises a unique data protocol which works down just two wires (power and data). This allows considerable cost savings on installation and means this system can be retrofitted to the wiring of many existing conventional call systems. The protocol allows up to 256 addressable devices (network controller, displays, call points, etc) to be connected to a system together with virtually any number of ancillary devices such as ceiling pulls and over door lights.

The system can be programmed to suit individual care facilities specific requirements, for example different day and night call divert arrangements, this flexibility coupled with many other advanced features such as multiple call levels, free built-in data logging, simple system re-programming and full monitoring of all network devices makes this system an obvious choice for nursing homes and hospitals.

Calls can be made from a variety of devices including tail call leads, ceiling pulls and pressure pads to suit different levels of dexterity. Once triggered calls are reset at the room from which they were made via a button or magnetic reset key.

A confidence light on the bedhead reassures patients calls have been registered, and for prone to wander, door monitoring points and portable movement detectors can be used to provide added protection

The easy to read backlit displays show the precise location of all relevant incoming calls and indicate their presence via a gentle unobtrusive alarm tone.

The calls can prioritised to show on all relevant displays

And indicate its higher priority with a more urgent alarm tone easily recognisable by fellow staff.
