Mine Detection & Clearance Equipment

The threat of buried unexploded mines & bombs is still among us to this day. Many regions of the world have many miles of uncleared mines that are still active and their detonation causes severe injury or death. The buried bombs are a threat to both vehicles and personnel and thus prohibit the safe travel of both the military and civilians.

The most common areas to which buried mines and unexploded bombs appear are typically around conflict zones, but all too often there are many roads, paths and even fields that harbour this threat, causing loss of life and disruption to a country's transportation.

Westminster International offer a range of mine detection, clothing and clearance equipment to help de-mining organisations, military and governments remove the threat that they cause. The Military, for example, could use the equipment to clear a path so they can advance into new otherwise uninhabitable territory. Westminster International's Mine Detection & Clearance equipment help detect and remove mines that block strategic pathways and make it safe for those areas to be habitable once again.

WG-325
The WG325 marks a significant advance in mine detonation and heavy bush clearance incorporating a number of innovative features which provide many advantages over competitive designs.

WG-100
The WG100 is a lightweight machine designed around a well proven tractor fitted with 10mm armour for driver protection and 6mm armour for tractor protection.

WG-75
The WG75 is a compact 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steer 159hp, versatile, air transportable machine, with 10mm cab armour and 6mm engine armour, the cab is air conditioned. It is particularly suitable for work in boggy conditions and restricted and difficult sites as it can turn 360 degrees without moving off its position.

WG-50
The WG50 is an extremely versatile Backhoe Loader with a front loadable flail header unit and bucket, which can be very quickly hitched and unhitched.

WG-25
The WG25 is a lightweight and compact remote control skid steer, that designed to withstand blasts of 8.8 kgs.

WG-Sifter
