Radiation - Gamma Monitors
Gamma radiation monitor units can be used to search for, detect, and locate radioactive and nuclear materials in a variety of situations. To reduce both the possibility of terrorist acts using such materials and the illicit transportation of these materials across borders.
XRT-260 Gamma Monitor
The XRT-260 gamma monitor is designed to be installed on airport-type x-ray scanners.
Items are scanned as the conveyor belt moves them into the x-ray chamber.
A special shielding scheme reduces the effects of the x-rays on the radiation detectors to increase gamma sensitivity.

 The System Controller, model SC-755, provides both the analog and digital signal processing and drives the external indicators.
|
|
The Remote Indicator Panel can be located near the x-ray system's display for operator convenience. |

Specifications for custom systems are variable and subject to
customer requirements.
 ABM-486 Automated Box Monitor
The ABM-486 contains plastic scintillator gamma detectors with
optional He3 detectors. |

The CPM-402 is an automated pipe scanner.

The WM-290 accepts items up to 28" x 30" in size.
Its chamber height automatically adjusts to optimise detector
geometry for a wide variety of items.
After set up, its computer controller allows for simple operation.

 GPRS - Radiation Scanning Vehicles Model
Large area radiation scanner with global positioning system. The radiation scanning system is based on an industrial PC. Radiometric information is merged with GPS data and stored on disk. Data can be printed, plotted or overlaid on a map.

Roadway scanner with global positioning system.
