SRC / SCADA Remote Control

RS 232 port & accessories (optional) observation, failure reading etc. operations of the detectors are performed by cable (max.100 m.) and /or by PTT line by modem.

The unit can be adjusted, data and failure modes observed by remote Control, by cable to a local PC or via PTT line via modem.

Set Up Detail

From, (com1) to (com 4) - 4 different serial communication ports can be used.

This is selected by the Com Port SELECT. If this is done through telephone lines then the port with ‘modem’ must be selected.

Enter the phone number of the targeted detector to S9 Phone Number and press Dial button. Then SRC will connect Modem by the dialled phone number. All operations, either by phone or locally by cable in principal are the same, for connection and communication.

All of the Walk-Thru Detector unit a network should be separately numbered ie 1 - 16. (All units are numbered 1 from the factory and renumbered by the user!)

The Detector is selected by its GATE Number for control and so the relative information on screen is renewed. STATUS displays the situation.

STOP sign shows that the operation has been performed successfully. Due to communication line or any failure, READ ERROR sign will be seen. All failures are displayed in this manner.

On Level Setting from 1 to 10, 10 different channels can be selected separately. At each of them (from 0 to 245 digits) 246 sensitivity levels can be adjusted. The active channel and its alarm level can be observed at the text box.

Alarm Volume Level displays audio volume and can be adjusted to 10 different levels. 0 will shut off the volume.

Counters displays incoming In Counter and outgoing Out Counter, Alarm Counter information.

In Settings active language and Counters values are displayed or changed to Counter Invisible.

The Above-mentioned parameters are displayed once for the selected detector.

After necessary modifications new values are changed at the appropriate fields and than entered by Save button. Then the detector resets and uses the new adjusted values.

The Refresh button updates every 30 seconds and during the activation of this process Save operation can not be carried out.

After the Control Program is completed, all of the connections are closed and telephone line is shutdown.

The Factory Settings returns the Unit to default values from factory.
