Miniscan |
|
The Miniscan is a compact X-ray inspection system designed for mail, packages and small parcels. The Miniscan is useful for the detection of mail bombs,
explosive devices, weapons, contraband and other potentially dangerous items. With an inspection chamber of 10" (254 mm) high, 21" (533 mm) wide and 14" (355 mm) deep it can handle a wide variety items. The system may also be used in non-destructive inspection applications to confirm the quality or contents of manufactured items requiring limited imaging resolution. Items requiring inspection are simply placed in the inspection chamber, the X-ray system is activated using a simple push button and the contents may be viewed
through the viewing eyepiece. Up to 300 items per hour can easily be scanned. The standard system is suitable for desktop use or may be optionally equipped with a cart to provide a suitable operating position and facilitate movement.
