It was officially announced yesterday that Ms Musayeroh Barrie was appointed as the Director General of Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority by President Julius Bio.

Ms Barrie has worked for Westminster Aviation Security Services Ltd for over 10 years and has been instrumental in the successful delivery of the airport security operation at Freetown International Airport.

Joanna Fowler Head of Services for the Westminster Group PLC stated: "I am delighted for Ms Barrie and I wish her success in her challenging new role.

Having worked with her for over a decade now I know that she will be an asset to the Civil Aviation Authority as they continue to strengthen their aviation sector following the completion of the new terminal at Freetown International Airport".
