Westminster is pleased to announce the successful installation and commissioning of a new Xonar TruePort full-body scanner at HMP Peterborough, marking a significant enhancement to the facility’s security screening capabilities.

The advanced system—designed to detect metallic and non-metallic threats—has been integrated into the prison’s existing security framework, adding a powerful new layer of protection to support safe and secure operations within the site.

As part of the deployment, Westminster worked closely with Sodexo, the private company responsible for operating HMP Peterborough, to ensure a seamless installation and training process. This deployment reflects the growing demand across the UK’s prison sector for modernised, non-intrusive screening solutions capable of tackling evolving security challenges.

Westminster Group extended its appreciation to David Fleming MSyl and Matthew Hartwell for their support, coordination, and engagement throughout the project. Their collaboration played a key role in the smooth rollout of the TruePort system.
