Westminster Group Plc is pleased to confirm that formal ground security operations are now underway at multiple airports across Gabon, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s strategic partnership with the Gabonese Ministry of Transport.

As part of the early implementation phase, Westminster’s Head of Engineering, Dave Clements, recently travelled to Gabon to oversee initial technical activities and support the deployment of operational infrastructure.

This development follows the signing of a long-term contract exceeding 15 years with the Gabonese government to provide comprehensive aviation security services. The agreement covers four major airports and includes the installation of advanced screening technologies, extensive staff training, and ongoing support services aimed at enhancing national aviation security standards.

This project further reinforces Westminster’s position as a trusted provider of global aviation security solutions and reflects the Group’s continued expansion across Africa.
