Project Engineering Manager for Four Airports in Gabon

The Project Engineering Manager will provide technical expertise to the Gabon operation in accordance with the contract, also, when required give support to other African projects

Requirement

·       Fluent in French and English

·       Strong understanding of security technologies

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       A strong understanding of Health & Safety

Necessary Experience in the following areas

·      Airport screening equipment: Cargo & Baggage scanners, walkthrough metal detectors and screening devices, Trace detection systems.

·      IP camera and CCTV systems

·      Intrusion detection systems

·      IP Networking

·      Access control

·      AV systems

Scope of role

Evaluate,implement and integrate world class security solutions to our clients in accordance with international & local regulations.

Health & Safety Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.

Adhere to WG IT policies and procedures. Be a point of contact for the UK IT department and help trouble shoot any IT issues across the project.

Update and develop policies and systems to improve the quality, effectiveness, and performance of the Services and to ensure ongoing compliance, in all material respects, with international standards and requirements.

Assess the competencies of any existing technicians at each location and assess if they are competent or have the capability to be developed under the guidance of the Engineering Manager. Recruitment and development of technicians as the project dictates.

Monitor the performance of historical security systems and identify areas for improvement implementing corrective actions where required.

Provision of technical expertise for the management of our projects, worldwide.

Salary & Benefits

$50,000 USD per annum base salary

$18,000 USD per annum Overseas Allowance

$6,000 USD per annum Medical Insurance Allowance

9/3 Rotation of 9 weeks in Country followed by 3 weeks leave
