Office Administrator

Working within the Managed Services team and reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for a range of administration duties in support of the managed services division.

We are looking for a self motivated, flexible individual who is able to work on their own initiative as well as working well within the team. You should have good communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues and be able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment. Full training will be given to the person who shows a willingness to succeed and develop within our successful business.

Carrying out a range of administration and customer service tasks to support the Managing Director and Operations and Training Team, including;

– Support to Managing Director with Day to Day admin
– Support to operations department by booking flights and managing diaries for the training team
– Support to operations team with collation and dissemination of information.
– Deal with enquiries by phone, letter or email and direct to the appropriate person.
– Production and maintenance of word/excel documents
– Raising of weekly and monthly invoices
– Maintenance of in-house databases for enquiries/sales/customers/trainers
– Data entry of customer/supplier/client details into in-house database
– Supporting training team during in house training courses, welcoming trainees etc
– Supporting client visits/welcoming clients etc
– Further specific responsibilities as determined by the division may be included.

Field Service Engineer

Westminster has a vacancy for an experienced Field Service Engineer within its expanding maintenance and service department in the UK.

The maintenance and service department carry out routine servicing and emergency call out response for many customers across the UK and worldwide.

As a Field Service Engineer you will possess excellent technical understanding of electrical systems, electronic equipment and IT systems and the ability to trace and solve problems. You should have the willingness to learn and undertake equipment training courses as needed to further your knowledge.

The successful candidate needs to have a full driving licence and be willing to travel around the UK to customer sites. As a customer facing engineer you should have a friendly and courteous attitude with customer satisfaction being a key part of the role.

Previous experience with X-Ray security screening equipment would be preferable but not essential. You will be required to travel overseas on occasion.

As a Field Service Engineer you are required to be on-call 1 week in 4.

Construction Manager

Westminster has a vacancy for an experienced Construction Manager who can assist with the selection, oversight and management of construction contractors required for the construction of a 3,200sqm building and several smaller units within the Middle East. The project is part of a larger security project, further details of which are confidential at this time. The appointment is expected to be for a minimum period of two years during the construction phase of the contract and the role will be to ensure the appointed contractors compliance to local regulations, international practices and project requirements. The role may be extended to other projects around the world.

We are therefore looking for a skilled construction manager to oversee the groups project construction requirements.

The successful candidate will be willing to work internationally and should be capable of managing multiple construction projects in multiple countries. Dealing with the entire construction process including liaising with Architects, construction companies and other suppliers. The successful candidate should also be able to interact and manage the regulatory process within each territory as required. Ability to speak German and Farsi or Arabic would be an advantage.

Duties

  • Manage project timelines and build programmes to fit in with project requirements;
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality standards are met and ensure effective and efficient project delivery;
  • Manage construction project budgets;
  • Pursue environmental and ethical building practices where possible;
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and good practices in health and safety on all project sites;
  • Maintain constant communication with all stakeholders through construction process;

Security Engineers

The Security Engineers role will be based in the Middle East and require candidates to undertake the installation and commissioning of Security Systems, IT Networks, Screening Systems and VMS Platforms.

The ideal candidate must have experience in servicing and installing a range of technical network systems and be able to communicate effectively with customers and clients.

Technical Project Managers

The Project Manager role will be based in the Middle East, candidates must have previous experience of the design, development, integration, installation and documentation of security architectures including Security Systems, IT Networks, Screening Systems and VMS Platforms.

The role will comprise of all aspects of project management including site meetings, site visits, paperwork, ensuring installations of security systems are installed to the correct standard, and to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for team leadership and accountability for building and motivating the team.
  • Planning for and obtaining the appropriate levels and types of resource required.
  • Establishing common milestones which link to the wider project/programme milestones.
  • Providing progress and status reports to the Project Team and Project Director
  • Ensuring the delivery of quality project, on target, within budget and other constraints.
  • Identifying issues and recommending solutions to the Project Team and other relevant parties.
  • Liaising with customers Project Engineers.

Experience

  • Experience of delivering large scale projects involving multiple security related disciplines and workstreams.
  • Experience of project planning, monitoring and controlling projects using PRINCE2 or other Project Management related methodologies.
  • Awareness of both relevant standards, integration of security systems including IT Infrastructures.
  • Experience in the assessment, mitigation and management of project risk.
  • Experience in managing project budgets to project schedules.
  • Experience of deploying security projects in a secure environment.
  • Experience of managing and delivering multiple security discipline projects within tight timescales and with limited resources in the Middle East.
