Figen Murray’s resolute campaign for legislation requiring venues to have to put in place and maintain appropriate security measures against terror attacks, has been truly inspirational and for which she was awarded an OBE in 2021.
She is a regular speaker to schools and associations on terrorism and her dissertation, as part of her Master’s degree in counter-terrorism, has been keenly anticipated and will be a highly sought after document within the security sector.
