The WG Desktop Mail Scanner Metal Detector  provides automatic inspection of parcels and letters up to 45 cm wide and 7.5 cm thick,for the detection of detonators, batteries, trigger circuits and other metal components of parcel bombs.

It operates on mains power supply with integrated battery charger, optional NiMH rechargeable batteries are available.

An optional embedded radioactive material detector,is available.

The scanner is certified to EU regulation 185/2010 on mail security inspection.
